Rust is such a chic color for the season and this cute new wrap top from Cupcakes and Cashmere is a beautiful wardrobe staple for day or night. It's effortless yet flirty and fun. I love it tucked into high waisted jeans and a loafers or mules or over a knit pencil skirt with tall booties for a more dressed up look. Though it gets a bad reputation for being boring, the modest turtleneck is actually probably the easiest way to make a simple outfit look more creative. Try a dress over it and add a fun pair of earrings or big necklace or give your basic jeans and tee combination a seasonal update with a tight, tucked-in turtleneck shirt, a plaid blazer, classic denim pants, and some booties. Pearl embellishments have taken on a distinctly modern vibe and this cute staple sweater is the perfect way to rock them in a new way. Wear this pretty piece dress up or down while remaining super comfortable and cozy when the weather is chilly. Camel is an ultra hot color this year and the PJ style of this blouse is a modern take on a classic staple. Full tuck into trousers, half tuck into jeans or tie the ends in a knot and wear with high waisted pants or skirt or over a dress.

I really love that tops are so versatile. I've included a pair of denim jeans in black and a pair of paper bag shorts for you to try on all the tops with! Try the Jack by BB Dakota Hurst Side Slit Relaxed top with the pair of jeans and a pair of sneakers for a casual going out look. For something more polished, wear it with the Lena One Shoulder Ruffle Stripe Top or the BB Dakota Halter Neck Top and a pair of heels and a patent clutch for a date night look. For a work-friendly look, wear the jeans with our JOA Tweed Top. If your office doesn't allow jeans, you can always wear it with your favorite pair of work pants. This year is going by so fast. But I'm really excited about adding some more pieces into your wardrobe! Are you ready?! I wasn't sure which direction you would like to take your wardrobe this year so I started off with a mix of basics that are great during the week but also on the weekend. Pair these tops and layering pieces with the Just Black Jeans. I love layering blouses and cotton tops under jackets and cardigans. Doing so makes it easy to transition your wardrobe season-to-season. The Kaitlyn Ruffle Top is a perfect layering piece to layer under the Unexpected Waterfall Cardigan. I included jeans for you to try it like so. These are the perfect jeans to pair with any sweater or blouse year-round. The Travis Bomber Jacket is another great layering piece that is great during the week but still amazing for the weekends. Layer this over lightweight tops and sweaters when the weather starts warming up but you still want to be covered up. It's fine for the warmer weather because this version of the bomber jacket doesn't have fill in it so it's definitely more lightweight. The first thing I added was the Cameo Your Side Pants. They're beyond comfortable and flattering. Plus the quality is amazing, so I thought you might want to give them a try! You can easily dress these up with a boot, making them a great piece to add to your current wardrobe. For a laid back look, I would wear either a fitted, knit top tucked in or the Front Knot Lightweight Jersey Knit Top over these and pair them with a fun necklace or scarf. To transition these pants from day to night, pair them with the V-Neck Front Knot Top, gold jewelry, and heeled booties or loafers! For a comfy everyday look, wear the Selah Ribbed Knit Cardigan over a simple long sleeve tee and black leggings, and accessorize with some silver accent earrings for extra polish. Throw on tall boots or mules to complete this chic look!

I started you off with the Just Black Daria Jeans which have a midrise, semi-stretch fabric and subtle distressing over a dark blue wash that will add the perfect touch of detail to any outfit. Pair this with the Splendid 1x1 Turtleneck which will make a necessity in your attire! Layer this with the Vero Moda Quilted Vest for added coverage and dimension. The Button Up Two Pocket Shirt is another casual piece I gave you which features lightweight construction and classic plaid pattern that is perfect for the remainder of the season and can be styled with the Noah Cardigan! Since the warm weather is here, the Elle Surplice Sleeveless Jumpsuit is perfect for an easy throw-it-on day outfit. At night, you can wear the jumpsuit with the Dropped Shoulder Two Pocket Cardigan to transition it for the evening. Don't forget to try it with a bag or your favorite GNO clutch! Also, accessories are a must for a fun night out. The cardigan will drape nicely and since it's lightweight, it'll be perfect for San Diego's weather. The Level 99 Dayla Cargo Pants will be great for days you want to lounge or just run errands. They're really comfortable but look trendy. This is great for your "not trying but still looks great" looks. Wear it with the Devon Crossed Back Long Sleeve Striped Top or simple cami. Let's start by building out the basics in your wardrobe since you're looking for a capsule of pieces that work year-round and are classic as well as timeless.

I love the Mindy Ponte Pant because they're incredibly versatile and can be work on many different occasions. I always recommend people try it for casual, date night, and work. They're really comfortable and slimming which makes them really flattering on all body types. To dress it casually, try it with a t-shirt and a denim jacket. For work, wear it with a simple blouse and a black blazer.

The Waverly Jacket is a great layering piece to add to any outfit. Style it with dresses or simple tees and skinny jeans to elevate your look. Perfect when you need a bit more coverage but still lightweight. I love it styled with a tee and leggings or jogger pants and sneakers for a comfy outfit while running errands. It's an easy go-to piece so I think it will go great with the tops I've included in your box to try and mix-and-match.

Welcome back to another month of your DL box! This month, I tried to include some more fun and fashion-forward looks as well as some more wardrobe essentials to help you build out your everyday essentials. I'm excited to be able to send you some pieces to help you experiment with your style!

Everyone needs a classic pair of skinny jeans and our Just Black jeans really hit the mark with this high-waisted version. Pair these with our Bella Ruffle Off The Shoulder Tie Sleeve Top and a great pair of statement earrings. You could wear this from day to night! The Sharon top is also a great basic. You can wear these tops interchangeably. If you throw on a heeled bootie or a classic pump, you'll be set for an everyday look.

For a fun fashion-forward item this month, I've included our sparkle jumpsuit. I love this look on its own or layered over a thin black turtleneck. For warmer weather, you can wear this with a white short sleeve under for something comfortable but trendy. This jumpsuit would look so cute with a strappy kitten heel or some classic moto boots.
